During this informative and inspirational seminar, Ken Carl will present his dramatic images from his safaris throughout Africa, assignments from Mexico to Thailand, and personal travels in Cuba and beyond.. He will share his trade secrets for photographing in challenging conditions and bringing home stories of a lifetime. Throughout his presentation, Carl will share his insights on key equipment, proven techniques and efficient workflow. He will also discuss post production of printing, creating books and prints.
Carl's style of work is based upon photojournalism and he has developed a strong reputation for meeting the needs of his clients. He has international travel experience and proven ability to work in remote locations. His documentary assignments include climbing Mt Kilimanjaro with "Climb for Kids Foundation," Lamu Kenya for the Kenyan Tourism Board, coverage of the Chicago 35th ward Aldermanic race and various assignments from the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine, RedEye, TimeOut, and Archaeology Magazine.
